Firmaet A.P. Møller, a Danish partnership, is the registered management of A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. Today, the Board of Directors has decided that Firmaet A.P. Møller shall step down as management on 1 January 2013.

Senior Vice President for Group HR Bill Allen has decided to leave the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group and return to the USA after seven years in Denmark.

Twenty-five eager young seafarers will have the opportunity to acquire maritime skills and develop their potential through Maersk Supply Service’s new seafaring programme for Angolans, which launches this week.

The Siemens Drive Technologies Division has been awarded a contract worth tens of millions of Euros from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) to implement eco-friendly propulsion and power generation system in container ships.

Maersk Supply Service has won three new major contracts with the Brazilian state owned oil company Petrobras. The total contract value is approximately DKK 1.6 billion.
